DAPHNE SHAW OPENING GREEN “1” ON OPENING DAY 5TH MAY 2021.

Green “1” was officially opened on Wednesday 5th May, by Daphne Shaw. It was a great day for our club, the Men’s and Women’s clubs came together for the opening and we played mixed fours. We played on greens 1 & 2, which were both full and changed over after the 10th end, so we could all play on the new green. We had an enjoyable day. Elaine Pender and Carole Eggleton slaved away cooking sausage sandwiches for everyone and we received a free drink for the occasion. We went in when it started to rain and there was a raffle and prizes for lucky teams on the day.
